1-2 March 2012, New Delhi, seminar organized by Centre for European Studies Jawaharlal Nehru University (partner of CCIRS) on: India and the European Union in a Changing World: Perceptions and Perspectives. Opening remarks were given by Prof. Sudha Pai, Rector, JNU. Keynote speakers: H.E. Joao Cravinho, Ambassador and Head of Delegation of the European Union, New Delhi and H.E. Mr Freddy Svane, Ambassador of Denmark to India.
In the confrence took part representatives of IIR and CCIRS:
– dr Jakub Zajączkowski presented paper on: EU Strategy towards South Asia, in second session (The European Union and South Asia).
– dr Karina Jędrzejowska presented paper on: India and the Eurozone Sovereign Debt Crisis in sixth session (Economic and Trade Relations).
In conference also took part partners of CCIRS:
– dr Manish Thapa (Department of Conflict, Peace & Development Studies, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu) with paper on: The European Union and Conflict Resolution in Nepal
– dr Idesbald Goddeeris with dr Sara Cosemans (Leuven University, Belgium) with paper on: Indian Migration on the European Continent.
